Personal site

LateBoof

A personal outdoor site for river days, boof strokes, and the write-ups that happen after the take-out.

lateboof.com is the personal corner of the work — kayaking trips, river photos, and the day-to-day texture of paddling life, kept separate from the client-facing projects.

Why it exists

Not everything worth keeping fits inside a client project. lateboof.com is where the river days live on their own terms — put-ins, take-outs, and the stretch of writing that happens after the boat is back on the roof.

What it holds

Trip notes, river photos, and the occasional gear note, all kept separate from the paid work so neither side has to compete for the same audience.

Notes from the water

The name is a paddling joke that stuck. A boof is the stroke that keeps the bow up over a rock or ledge instead of diving into it — timing matters more than power. Most of what ends up on the site starts the same way most good trips do: later than planned, boat still loaded from last time.
